Cupcake Bouquet

Welcome to another tea party.

Today I'm serving cupcakes.

I've arranged them in a basket bouquet.

Next time I will  take more time to
decorate each cupcake to look like a rose
or other flower.

But I was a bit short on time today so
I just did a basic swirl and leaf.

Each cake is placed on a stand I
created from a circle cut from foam board
to which a long candy sucker stick (Wilton)
was inserted and glued on the underside.

The stick was inserted into the
bottom of the cupcake
and a little frosting piped onto the circle
kept the cake seated securely in place.

Then I carefully poked the sticks into
a block of styrofoam which I had wired into
the basket.

Stems of silk greenery was used as filler.

There.  All done.  Have one won't you!

I'm so glad you stopped by today.
If these cupcakes have inspired you,
please leave a comment.

Then pour another cup of tea and
have a look around. You can find more

Hugs,
